The name stays on the streets it was built on: a grid of concrete block ranch homes from the late 1950s and 1960s, one story, low hip and gable roofs, carports that were later closed in, and Florida rooms with flat roofs that were added in the 1970s.
Every house on these streets is on the same schedule. The original shingle went in the 1960s, the second roof in the 1980s, the third in the late 1990s or after the 2004 storms, and that third roof is the one the insurance letters are about.
